A: skeleton is a members-only, words-first, ad-free platform created to be the antidote to toxic social media platforms. The content is user-owned. Member safety and mindful moderation with human oversight are amongst our top priorities. We’re a new kind of community and communication form. Safer, focused, fun. We offer the familiar features of traditional social and professional networks with a better experience and some new ways to connect.

A: There are other places to watch video.

Q: iOS and Android?

A: The app is available on Apple’s App Store. Other versions and formats may be available in the future.

Q: Why a subscription fee?

A: It covers our safety initiatives and helps keep skeleton independent and ad-free.

Q: All ages?

A: 18+

Q: How will I access the App?

A: If approved, you will receive a membership invitation to allow access to the app.

Q: How do you select members?

A: With filters and human oversight.

Q: How long will it take me to complete the application?

A: It typically takes less than five minutes to complete.

Q: What if I really want to apply but the subscription fee is too much for my budget?

A: We are working to align with membership sponsor partners. For now, feel free to contact us directly.

Q: Which countries can apply?

A: We will soon accept applications in 178 countries. Check the App Store to see if the app is available in your region before applying.

Q: Will this be completely safe?

A: It is designed to be safer in terms of the member experience than typical multimedia-based social and professional platforms. We are committed to supporting our members to the fullest extent we are able. Our safety and moderation mechanisms will continue to be core goals as we evolve.

A: We are humans and we have created this community made entirely of humans.
